2 oz Spicy Strawberry Citrus-infused tequila
1 small bunch of basil
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
1 egg white (optional but recommended)
Muddle the Spicy Strawberry Citrus tequila and basil together in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add the remaining ingredients (no ice). Shake vigorously (keeping a tight hold on the top) for about 30 seconds, until the egg white is very frothy (skip this step if you are nixing the egg white). Add a large handful of ice to the shaker and shake for another 10-15 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
