The Apple Orchard

2 large sprigs of thyme
1 oz Apple Cranberry Crisp-infused bourbon (or spirit of your choice)
1 oz Applejack (or Calvados or other high quality apple brandy)
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz maple syrup
2 dashes aromatic bitters

Add one sprig of thyme and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker. Muddle until the thyme is fragrant. Add the remaining ingredients and a large handful of ice to the shaker. Shake vigorously until the very cold, about 10-15 seconds. Pour into a rocks glass and fill the glass with ice. Garnish with the second sprig of thyme, slapping between your hands first.
